Shipping and Returns

Shipping Policy

The Whispering Cowgirl is pleased to ship your purchase Free of Charge in the Continental United States. Items shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories and International destinations will receive a credit toward shipping comparable to the cost of shipping the product within the Continental U.S. Expedited shipping will be subject to additional fees. Our goal is to provide you with outstanding customer service and an extremely easy shipping process, please call our customer service line at 508-214-0158 if you have any questions.

Return Policy for all Items Excluding Saddles and Horse Gear

At the Whispering Cowgirl we stand behind the artisans we represent and the quality of their work. Each artisan has been fully vetted, but on occasion we realize items will need to be returned or replaced. Due to the handmade and custom nature of our products, we will accept returns on all products that are received back within 10 days from the day the customer receives an item. Items received back after 10 days and up to 30 days will have a store credit issued. No returns will be accepted after 30 days. All products must be returned in the condition in which they were received by the client and in the original packaging. The individual initiating the return is responsible for the shipping cost to return an item. Our goal is to make doing business with us a pleasurable experience, please call our customer service line at 508-214-0158 if you have any questions.  All applicable shipping costs incurred by Whispering Cowgrl will be deducted from the refund amount of all items returned.  A 10% restocking fee will apply to returns that are received back after 10 days of receipt by the customer. Due to the unique, handmade nature of our items, custom and special orders are non-refundable. 

Saddle and Horse Gear Return Policy

Saddles are subject to a 7 day trial period and are accepted as a return if you find they do not fit your horse for any reason. In order to be accepted for a return, saddles must be received back in the condition in which they were delivered. Saddles with scratches on the leather or stirrups, signs of use on the underside will not be accepted. We ask that you place a towel or like cloth between your horse and your saddle pad to prevent soiling of the saddle fleece. Stirrups should be wrapped in plastic to avoid soiling of the stirrups. We tend to stock a fancier saddle with a bit more tooling from McCall Saddle than you will find at most other saddle shops, as such we just ask that you take little extra care in trying yours out. But by all means test it out and make sure it fits you and your horse!

Our McCall Saddles will tend fit to a variety of horses, please call us before you order so we can help you select the most appropriate size for both of you. Our goal is to assist you in refining your partnership with your horse - a fine and properly fit saddle will help you do that! Please call us at 508-214-0158 to discuss your saddle needs. We are available to assist you with the custom order of any McCall Saddle to fit your particular needs.

If any product received from the Whispering Cowgirl is found to be defective for any reason we will offer full replacement or repair by the artisan if the piece is found to be defective within 30 days. If it’s past that time just call us and we will do the best we can to correct any problems on a case by case basis. Saddle returns are subject to a 5% restocking fee, with no exceptions to cover shipping costs and credit card fees.   Credit Card refunds and all other returns will be processed within 10 business days of product return, subject to inspection of the returned product - some exceptions can apply.   We aim to make doing business with us as seamless as possible.  We welcome all questions, comments and concerns.
